Dan Knight is a marketing and public relations professional with fifteen years of experience working with a diverse list of clients that includes everything from financial institutions to software development companies.  A graduate of SUNY Albany, Dan joined Penflex in 2010 after a long stint marketing ecommerce platforms and content management systems.  He has been published in more than two dozen newspapers and magazines and has been interviewed on-air for multiple news radio outlets. His knowledge of internet marketing and social media has brought a new dimension to the Penflex marketing efforts.

“We hope to continue to spread the word that Penflex is a service oriented professional services firm where having ethical standards is not just a guideline, but part of our culture. With the web and traditional media the Penflex brand is gaining traction and I look forward to being part of the effort that will add to our more than 400 clients in 11 states,” says Knight.

As part of the new Web 2.0 initiative at Penflex, Dan has helped grow successful Facebook and Twitter accounts where the staff can personally interact with volunteer firefighters and EMS workers all over the country.

“Moving forward we intend to continually communicate with our current client base through newsletters, social media, legislative action bulletins and more.  Further, we intend to continue to push for legislation that benefits volunteer firefighters and EMS workers with aggressive public relations campaigns and social media efforts.  The next few years are going to be exciting here at Penflex and we are excited about our expansion into each new state,” Knight adds.

In his spare time he is a dog lover and rabid Chicago Bears fan. In addition he enjoys writing, reads extensively and is a great lover of cinema.
